Hi Preschool A Families!     Today, we started playing in the classroom. Crazy people-eating puppets were on the loose in the classroom as well as the creation of quite the mighty fortress of some sort. We then went outside to play and as we were doing that our kiddos signed up for Art Camp left us to go make their own colored clay! When they came back we went to the cafeteria to eat our treat- mini pancakes! They were delicious. We had Bible Story Time in the classroom after and watched the Veggie Tales version of Jonah and the Whale. We learned that our God is a "Second Chances God." The songs in that Veggie Tales are oh-so catchy. We ate our packed snacks while we watched. We went outside again. Some kids lugged some heavy lumber across the playground to build a house. When we came inside, a gave the kids the option to play with playdough, which we had not yet done this year. They had a lot of fun making rings and snakes.  Hi Preschool A Families! We had an awesome day at camp today! We played inside for a bit while all our friends made their way to camp. Then when we went outside, a mama bunny had had her babies on our playground! The other teachers, assistants and I made sure that all the kids stayed ample enough room away as to not disturb the baby bunnies but most of the recess for many of the kids was spent admiring and asking questions about the furless, grey, wrigling babies! We came inside to have snack and have Bible Story Time! We talked about Jonah and the Whale again and how God forgives us even when we make mistakes. Then we got to use water color when we made our craft! The kiddos played inside while we cleaned up the tables from craft time and then we finished out our day in the gym before lunch. After lunch we watched a Wild Kratts episode about rabbits which had the kids guessing at what type of bunnies our playground bunnies were the whole episode. We read some books and headed off...

Hello Preschool A Families! I am so happy to be back! I missed these kiddos after my long weekend.      Because of the rain, we were a bit cooped up all day. We started with free play as everyone joined us for the morning. My assistants and I got to enjoy a lovely puppet show in the process. We had chapel in the Church presented by Mr. Wood and he talked about being a loving friend like how God is to us. We then had Cupcake Wars! The kids got to decorate a Twinkie of their own. I was tasked with judging this contest and choosing a winner out of our class for their picture to be hung in the wall next week! I took all day to deliberate and announced after lunch that I chose Turner for his attention to detail and dedication to his craft- he took almost all the time decorating. He barely had time to eat! Everyone's creations were fantastic though!      We washed the sticky icing off our hands and played in the gym for a bit to run some of the sugar high o...
