Summer Camp Friday 6/7

 Hi Preschool A Families! 

We had a small class today! We played in the classroom and then went outside to play. We came back inside to eat our snacks and then talked about our Bible story, David and Goliath. Today, we watched the Veggie Tales version of the story! Then, we got called outside to have our Kona Ice Snow Cones! The kids loved them an how it changed their tongue color! We came back inside to play when we were all finished. Next, Preschool B joined us for some dance videos! We did a Trolls one to Can't Stop the Feeling that the kids really enjoyed. Both classes then headed off to the gym after that. We had lunch and came back to the classroom to watch an episode of PJ Masks, read a few books, and take a nap! 

It was another successful day at camp! 

VBS Next Week:

I will be passing out VBS shirts next week and your child will need to wear that shirt every day they come for VBS. If your child is just coming for VBS and not camp on certain days, please email me and Summer Camp. I will send them down to be picked up at 12:15 pm on that day.

 Hi Preschool A Families! I hope you all had a great weekend! Today was a great day at camp. We played inside until everyone was here for the day and then we went out to the playground before it got too hot outside. While we were outside, a few kids went to gymnastics camp. When they came back we ate snack inside and sat down for Bible story time. We discussed Moses parting the Red Sea which is our story for the week. We talked about how powerful God is and that He is a miracle worker. Then we played in the classroom and I got out some play-dough on the back table. We went to the commons to get the last of the jitters out and spun around on the scooter seats, which we have never been able to use before. The kids were having a blast! When we were done in the commons we had a few minutes to spare to play in the classroom so I played a minion dance party video and a shark hunt interactive video for those who didn't want to play in the classroom. Summer Camp Tuesday 7/9

 Hi Preschool A Families!  We had a rainy, inside camp day, but we still had so much fun! The kiddos played in the classroom this morning making magic wands, tunnels, coloring, pretend firework shows, and *very intensely* playing with balloons! Some of our friends went to soccer camp and we waited for them to return to eat snack before we went to the Commons to run our energy out with Preschool B! We got to use funny bird puppets that make squawking noises and bouncing balls that we don't normally get to use so the kids were very excited. When we came back to the room, we talked about our Bible story for the week- Jesus calms the storm. We talked about how trusting God may be scary at times but He will always protect us like in our story. We watched the Bible video and then got to make our craft that spins from stormy weather to sunny weather. Summer Camp Friday 7/26 (Last Day!)

  What a fun last day of Summer Camp! The kids were able to do all of their favorite things today, from playing outside to playing Sharks and Minnows in the gym. We had a blast! Our special treat for the last day of Summer Camp was not only Kona Ice, but also a visit from Spider-Man! The kids loved getting a chance to talk to him, and it was hard when we had to say goodbye! :) It was a joy spending a week with your kids and getting to know them.
