Summer Camp Friday 7/19

Hi Preschool A Families!

Today was an awesome day of summer camp! We combined classes with Ms. Caitlyn's class because we both had small classes today. We made playdough donuts again this morning. Then, we went outside to play. When we came inside, we washed up, ate snack and talked about our Bible story for the week- Moses parting the Red Sea. We watched the Veggie Tales version of the story today. After Bible time, we went to the Commons to get our treat, ICE CREAM!  The kids loved it. We came back to the classroom to play for a bit and then headed off to lunch!

It was another successful day of camp!

Next week is Spirit Week! 

Monday: Dress as your favorite movie character!

Tuesday: Olympic Games (wear your USA or whatever team you are supporting! You can even wear sports gear.)

Wednesday: Wacky Wednesday!!

Thursday: Beach Day

Friday: Pajama Day

Mr. Jesse is going to be taking over the class on Monday because I am leaving for vacation today. Mr. Jesse is awesome and I have given him all the info He needs to have a great last week with the kids! 

It has been such an awesome Summer taking care of your kiddos. I have loved getting to learn their cute little things that make them who they are. I can tell that you all love them deeply and parent them well because I have never had an easier, and more loving Summer Camp class. I will miss them and be praying for them as I return to college!

Summer Camp Monday 7/15

 Hi Preschool A Families! I hope you all had a great weekend! Today was a great day at camp. We played inside until everyone was here for the day and then we went out to the playground before it got too hot outside. While we were outside, a few kids went to gymnastics camp. When they came back we ate snack inside and sat down for Bible story time. We discussed Moses parting the Red Sea which is our story for the week. We talked about how powerful God is and that He is a miracle worker. Then we played in the classroom and I got out some play-dough on the back table. We went to the commons to get the last of the jitters out and spun around on the scooter seats, which we have never been able to use before. The kids were having a blast! When we were done in the commons we had a few minutes to spare to play in the classroom so I played a minion dance party video and a shark hunt interactive video for those who didn't want to play in the classroom. Summer Camp Tuesday 7/9

 Hi Preschool A Families!  We had a rainy, inside camp day, but we still had so much fun! The kiddos played in the classroom this morning making magic wands, tunnels, coloring, pretend firework shows, and *very intensely* playing with balloons! Some of our friends went to soccer camp and we waited for them to return to eat snack before we went to the Commons to run our energy out with Preschool B! We got to use funny bird puppets that make squawking noises and bouncing balls that we don't normally get to use so the kids were very excited. When we came back to the room, we talked about our Bible story for the week- Jesus calms the storm. We talked about how trusting God may be scary at times but He will always protect us like in our story. We watched the Bible video and then got to make our craft that spins from stormy weather to sunny weather. Summer Camp Friday 7/26 (Last Day!)

  What a fun last day of Summer Camp! The kids were able to do all of their favorite things today, from playing outside to playing Sharks and Minnows in the gym. We had a blast! Our special treat for the last day of Summer Camp was not only Kona Ice, but also a visit from Spider-Man! The kids loved getting a chance to talk to him, and it was hard when we had to say goodbye! :) It was a joy spending a week with your kids and getting to know them.
