Summer Camp Monday 7/8

Hi Preschool A Families!

It sounds like everyone had a fun holiday weekend! Many of the kids were telling me about the parades they went to or the fireworks they saw!

We started off the day playing in the classroom but we quickly moved outside to get ahead of the rain. While we were outside, some of the class went to gymnastics camp. We came inside when it started to drizzle and played in the classroom until the gymnasts rejoined us. We ate our snacks and transitioned into Bible Story Time to discussed the story of Jesus calming the storm. We can trust God because He will always protect us and take care of us. Putting our faith in Him is never a bad decision. After watching to video explaining the story, we went o the commons to get our treat, Annie's Bunnie Graham Crackers and little icing cups to dip them in. The kids loved it! We played in the classroom with playdough to make pizzas and snakes. Some of the kids played hair salon and were pretend buzzing the boys' hair and trimming the girls' hair. I played an I Spy video for some of the kids to interact with as well. We ended the day outside on the playground before coming inside for lunch!

It was another successful day of camp!

WEDNESDAY- is Christmas in July day! If you would like to send your kiddo in red and green or Christmas PJs, please do! I would love to have the class all decked out for the theme!

God's Blessings,

Paige A Larkin
